The majority of Parents and Guardians will need to use a Child Care service whilst their child/children are growing up. Successful placement into a Children’s Service will depend greatly on your family’s needs and requirements.
The type of Child Care service you choose can depend on many factors. Please consider the following when selecting a service to meet your needs:
• The age of your child.
• The geographic location of your home, workplace and Child Care Centre.
• The needs and interests of your child.
• If you require regular or occasional care.
• The hours of care you will require in accordance to your employment.
• If you are employed full time or part time.
• If you have access to private transport or if you rely on public transport.
Obtaining an understanding of the types of Child Care Services available will be of great assistance when deciding on a Service for your child.
