Family Assistance Office

The Family Assistance Office has been set up by the Australian Government to give Australian families better access to government services. Instead of going to different agencies to get family assistance, families are able to get all their payments from just one place - the Family Assistance Office. Family Assistance Offices have been set up in Medicare Australia offices, Centrelink Customer Service Centres and Australian Taxation Office shopfronts across the country, offering a range of payments to support families with their work and family responsibilities.We provide financial assistance and information to families. Some of the payments we deliver are Family Tax Benefit (Part A&B), Child Care Benefit and Tax Rebate, Baby Bonus, Maternity Immunisation Allowance and Rent Assistance.
 

National Childcare Accreditation Council Inc.

NCAC's vision is quality experiences and positive outcomes for all children. Their mission is to set standards to improve the quality of child care and accredit services that meet the standards. They  aim to achieve their vision through the administration of Child Care Quality Assurance (CCQA) systems for children's services and through advocacy for children. They endeavour to assist child care professionals to deliver quality child care by providing services with advice, support and resources. They also assist families to understand the value of quality care.

Department of Community Services

The NSW Department of Community Services (DoCS) is the leading NSW Government agency responsible for community services. They work to promote the safety and wellbeing of children and young people and to build stronger families and communities. DoCS helps children, young people and families across a continuum of care. Our core work focuses on child protection, starting with early intervention strategies to help build stronger families and communities. They work to protect children and young people from risk of harm and to provide care for children and young people who are not able to live with their families.

Centrelink

Centrelink is an Australian Government statutory agency, delivering a range of Commonwealth services to the Australian community. They serve Australians by assisting people to become self-sufficient and supporting those in need.

Department of Family, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs

The Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA) is the Australian Government's principal source of advice on social policy and is responsible for about a quarter of the government's budgetary outlays. FaHCSIA works in partnership with other government and non-government organisations in the management of a diverse range of programs and services designed to support and improve the lives of Australians. FaHCSIA, is also responsible for coordinating a whole of government approach to programs and services for Indigenous Australians, and has a central role in the Australian Government's arrangements in Indigenous Affairs. 

Family Day Care Australia

Family Day Care Australia is family day care’s national professional association. Their role is to support, enhance and resource family day care services, and lead the way for family day care in the Australian childcare industry. Their key roles are research and advocacy of family day care policy issues, and innovative and strategic promotion of the unique child care service. They also offer a range of tailored insurance policies, publications and other products to ensure that family day care workers are well resourced.

Australian Childhood Immunisation Registry

The Australian Childhood Immunisation Register (the Immunisation Register) is a national register administered by Medicare Australia that records details of vaccinations given to children under seven years of age who live in Australia . It was established in 1996 in response to a decline in childhood immunisation levels and an increase in preventable childhood diseases.
